ACE/ACTIF

The ACE/ACTIF programme is a peer-volunteering intervention study. Peer volunteers (55 yrs +) support older people (65 yrs +) at risk of mobility limitations to become more active. The peer volunteers become the ‘buddy’ to older adults encouraging them to get out and about. Together they take advantage of the many physical activity sessions, programmes and opportunities that already exist locally.
